I consider the first Top Drawer to be when Print Circus was born. Although I started the brand a while before this time, having young twins meant it took a long time to develop any sort of brand identity or product range.
For anyone who is unfamiliar, Top Drawer is a trade show at Olympia, where businesses such as Print Circus and also much bigger brands showcase their collections of homeware, stationery, jewellery etc. to buyers. It is an amazing place to see and be part of.
There are some buyers I met at the very first show, who still stock Print Circus products. It's so lovely to meet with them and I've missed it terribly this last twelve months. I have met such lovely people there too, other brand owners who have chosen to do something similar with their lives - I really feel at home there and really miss the trade show family!
At the last Top Drawer before COVID struck, I met the Head of Buying at Fortnum & Mason. I was delighted to find out that she had bought some Print Circus cards from another stockist, and she passed my details to the relevant buyer. There has been a lot of communicating over the last eighteen months, but I am vey proud to be able to now name Fortum & Mason as a stockist.
I will be really excited to see my designs in such an iconic store!
Lovely fresh designs, subtle colours and textures. Great collection.
